For Those of You Who are willing to try glycerin soap, let me tell you That it is really easy and the best method if you want to make soap with Children. You just have to buy glycerin base , there are two types, clear and white base, to use it you just have to cut in small pieces and melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave for just a few seconds.Then you add colorant, fragance and any other additives you fancy, you pour it in moulds, let it dry and you have your soap ready to use.

You have to do all this while the soap is in the double boiler, otherwise the mix can get hard. energizing - Energising

Today I have for vosotr @ s a soap that I made before summer but I still have not tried. It is a mint and geranium soap with a little lemongrass and although an unusual mix I like it because is very energizing . Recipe is very simple and very emollient, has just olive oil, coconut and avocado.

Here you have the recipe if you fancy it.


Olive Oil 540 gr
Coconut Oil 160 gr
Avocado Oil 100 gr
Sosa 106 gr Water
248 gr

You can add essential or fragrance oil to taste, but remember to deduct the amount añadáis the amount of water in the recipe. I say this because I always keep my recipes with the amounts not including essential oils and then add it to times when I forget to water discounting, in fact today I corrected some of the recipes from the blog because I had happened, and although soap can be either, depending on the oils, sometimes a difference of 30 or 40 gr can make the soap is a bit softer.

Water 248 gr

You can add any fragance or essential oil that you like, but remember to discount the quantity that you add from the total amount of water in the recipe. I tell you this, because I normally writte down my recipes without essential oils and sometimes when I add the fragance I forget to discount it from the water and depending on the oils and quanty you are using, it could mean that the resulting soap is softer than it should.

Siento muchísimo la tardanza, pero la salud no me ha acompañado este verano, in fact I'm still not too well, but could not pass even one more day seeing all the messages you are sending me. First of all I apologize to all of you who have sent me messages and I did not answer, I hope to be and answer them slowly.
Well, as I have done not a single soap this summer I have been looking in the soap drawer and found some I did some time ago and I felt that fell short after so long without show you. They are cake-shaped soaps and have a smell of strawberry are favorites of my children, not just by the smell and form, but because they float in the bathtub. No more soaps lost in the depths .... are not they cool?
I hope to be putting some soaps that I have already made so you can start making soap again and again to give you recipes and interesting tips. I send many kisses to tod @ s, I am delighted to be back with vosotr @ s!

As I haven't made not even one soap this summer I have been looking in the soap's drawer and I found these ones that I made some time ago which I though were nice enough to show you. They are cupcake soaps and smell of strawberry, they are my daughters' favourites, not only because of the shape and the scent but specially because they float on the water. They absolutly love them! No more lost soap in the bathtube for them .... aren't they cool?
