Recipe lip balm - Lip Balm Recipe

Well chic @ s , here I am with you another day, I love these meetings that we have here in cyberspace , if you look good is something really amazing, and through technology we can be so close when in fact we are as far and as I sit here in my home computer before I can get to your houses scattered all over the world.
Is not this a wonder that we can almost touch it, I really feel that you super close, especially when I read your comments ....
Well today we are not talking about soap, I know your favorite is the soap, but today I'll give you a recipe for a lip balm. I thought you might like because it is very easy to make and you can also use the ingredients that normally you use to make soap, so surely will have all the material at home. Also as you already know lip balms are made with commercial derivatives oil, vaseline etc type that are bad for the skin, so you can make your natural ingredients. Recipes
lip balms are many but this is among my favorites, but according to your preferences you can adjust the quantities of oil and wax to give different consistencies.

Beeswax 40 gr
Shea Butter 50
gr Cocoa Butter 30 gr
Almond Oil 80 gr
Vitamin E (optional) 4 drops

you put beeswax and butters to melt in a double boiler, when it is all melted from the heat and retiráis you add almond oil and vitamin E, if you want to add any essential oil you do now and what you pour in small boats small cans like the photo. Then it meteis in the refrigerator for a few minutes and you're ready to usar.Si want you can add color using dye that you will have previously diluted in a little almond oil or melting a little of your favorite lipstick when derritáis shortenings and wax.

As I say there are many variations, some very interesting, so I will let you have another recipe later. This recipe is the same that I use to do so lipstick consistency, especially in winter, it is rather hard, if you like the most cuddly lip only have to add a little more almond oil to the recipe. For those who do not want complicaros life or you do not have all the ingredients can make a basic recipe using 1 part of wax and oil 4 or 5. For example, 3 grams of wax and 12 g of oil (olive, sunflower, almonds ...)

Hello all, here I am again, I love these encounters We Have in cyberspace, if we look at it closely it is quite amazing how by using our computers we can be so near when in fact we are so far away.
Don't you think is wonderful that we can almost touch each other ? , I can feel you all so near, specially when I read your comments....
Well, today I am not going to talk about soap, although I know that soap is your favourite subject. Today I am going to give you a lip balm recipe, I tought that you may like it as it is really easy to make and the ingredients used are the same we normally use for soap, so you will probably have them already at hand.
Besides, as you probably know, comercial lip balms are petroleum based and therefore do not replenish moisture to your lips, so it is a good idea to make your own lip balms with natural moisturizing oils and butters.
There are many lip balm recipes out there but I have a few favourites , one of which is this one, although you can also adjust the quantity of oils and wax to make the consistency to your liking.

Bees Wax 40 gr
Shea butter 50 gr
Cocoa butter 30 gr
Almond oil 80 gr
Vitamin E (optional) 4 drops

Put the wax and the butters to melt on a double boiler, when everything is melted, put it out of the fire and add the almond oil and the vitamin e, if you want to add any essential oil or fragance do it now, although if you have used unrefined wax the smell will already Be wonderful. Then pour it in small pots or tins and put it in the fridge For a few minutes, take it out and enjoy it. If you prefer
your lip balm to You Can Have Some add color colorant Some Diluted That You Would Have Previously in the You Can almond oil or melt the tiny bit of your favorite lipstick When You Are melting the butters.
I hope you like the recipe as much as I do.
Lots of love for all.

natural soap organic - Natural organic soap

Buffff, the days fly by and when I want to now has been a week since my last blog entry .... Today I bring some soaps are my favorite, totally soaps natural, no dyes or synthetic fragrances and made only with organic oils and essential oils, for me this kind of soap are the best soaps in the world. Long ago I told you I wanted to tell you about why I think soaps made with organic oils are the best. Well for starters I think most of you will agree that it is not the same as eating a freshly cooked paella with the best rice, seafood and freshly caught fish to eat pre-cooked paella which has been used frozen seafood and is full of preservatives to last long on the shelves of supermarkets. Well, to me, with soap is the same. Most of oil today are extracted with solvents (very toxic chemicals), why? because if for example we extract oil from a coconut, a few sunflower seeds or other means of pressure, centrifugation or other mechanical means the amount of oil you get is infinitely less than if done using a solvent, and pretty more expensive. But when you buy certified organic oils that we are making sure to extract these oils have not been used chemicals and therefore are much more pure than in its culture nor unused chemicals (fertilizers, pesticides , etc.) and normally come from sustainable plantations.
An exception to this generality is the extra virgin olive oil, which is one of the few oils that are still extracted by mechanical process without solvent.
And then if you also add dyes and synthetic fragrances, we are adding more to our soap chemistry.
In short, they are always my favorite soaps which are made with organic oils and only carry essential oils, organic if possible also ...... I only say if anyone was thinking about getting a gift, hahaha, but if possible would prefer something other than soap, which currently I have reservations para dos o tres vidas ......

Today I want to show you some of my favourite soaps, totally natural soaps, no colorants, no synthetic fragance, made only with organic oils and essential oils, for me this kind of soap is the best in the world.
The reason why I think soaps made with organic ingredients are the best is because nowadays most oils are extracted using toxic chemical solvents (hexane mostly), the reason for this is that using solvents gets a much higher yield of oil out of the seeds/nuts than just using mechanical means, and it is much cheaper. One of the few exceptions is extra virgin olive oil which is still extracted using mechanical means, mostly cold pressed.
By buying certified organic oils you are making That sure has not Been Used solvent to extract the oil Knowing That apart from the growing of the seeds / nuts not has Involved the use of chemical products and THEREFORE the oils is much more pure. As an added value come from organic ingredients Normally Sustainable plantations. The Truth Is That
organic oils That Are more expensive normal ones But I think it is worth it, Give it a try and see What you think.

What Causes Someone To Shake A Baby

Soap Mint - Peppermint Soap

What these spirits? I know some @ s you are a little discouraged because you are starting to make soap and you will not go all the soaps as I like, well, chic @ s ... un poco de paciencia, tenéis que pensar que de los fallos es de donde más se aprende y además a nadie se le ocurriría pensar que puede convertirse en Arguiñano nada más aprender a cocinar ¿no? pues el jabón igual, para aprender a hacer un buen jabón y dominar las diferentes técnicas hay que hacer bastantes jabones, y meter la pata unas cuantas veces y ya después de muchos jabones convertirse en el mejor jaboner @ mundial, pero si tiras la toalla en cuanto un par de jabones no te salen como quieres entonces nunca aprenderás. Esto sirve para cualquier cosa en la vida no sólo para hacer jabón, el único que llega a donde quiere es el que nunca tira la toalla, pase what, whatever they say, do what others do .... Why only some people get what they want? because the vast majority abandon our dreams sooner or later, the first few changes, other after struggling a bit and others when tired after a long fight we give up, let us convince our mind that tells us we are not sufficiently good, smart enough, young enough, enough ..... blah, blah, blah .... it's a waste of time, you're not going anywhere, that perhaps others can but you do not, and a million excuses but we believe we unfortunately face value feet .
Who do you think is right, you who have an enormous enthusiasm for learning to make soap and create the best soap that is created on the face of the earth or your mind giving you excuses and buts constantly to take away the head is illusion? You, of course, for that you are in this world to create and be happy, forget all the doubts that assail you, just let yourself carry and create.
Well, then roll philosophical, I tell you that this peppermint soap is made with the same technique I used in the entry More soap flowers. Just have to make soap, (If you do not know how to view the entries How to make soap, Soap Making (2) , How to make soap (3) , How to make soap (4) , How to make soap (5 ) and How to make soap (6) , then separáis into three parts, two of them have to add green colors (green rust) and blue (ultramarine blue) and the other party is going to be the most I mix their soap with white (titanium dioxide). you pour the soap into the mold and then the blue white and green with a utensil type removéis stick, drawings etc knife making your favorite ones.
Well, just for today. Many kisses to all and hope to receive your comments telling me your sorrows and joys with soap.

Sorry, no time for translation Inglés, hope to do it later. I hope you enjoy my new soaps dog anyway.

Blue And Blue Metal Cores

Soap Reviewed - Rebatching Soap

What girls or boys? How have you been this week?, I'm exhausted, I have a couple of weeks as Iliad, so I'm a bit disconnected from the blog and especially make soap. But the truth is I miss tell things, so today I got a little time to speak on a subject I have asked enough, consolidated. As some @ s already know from experience, sometimes you do soap and we do not as we would have liked, or maybe we forget an ingredient, or we are the soap scum and we do not use cookie cutters waste them, for all these cases we have consolidated. Basically, soap merge is grate, add a little liquid (and if you want some other additive) and recast it to heat. There are several ways to do this, the most popular are: a water bath at microwave, or directly to the fire, though so be careful to do so over very low heat, stirring constantly. We can add any liquid, water, tea, milk, etc and the amount depends somewhat on the recipe that was made soap and the time it takes done, so there is no exact amount, but can reference say that 10% of the weight of soap would be nice to start rallies. For example, if ralláis 1 kg of soap you can put 100 g of liquid, taking into account that as you see you can gradually add more, especially if you do direct fire (I sometimes use up to 30%) but remember echéis the more fluid you will have more time to stop the soap dry before use. The resulting soap is more rustic than normal (as seen in photo) and has a spongy texture.
recast There are other ways, such as adding a new traced soap and then use the hot method of making soap and some other that when I have time I hope to tell. The truth is that the revised method is a bit controversial because some people hate him and other people who like it a lot.
Well, put you to work with those remains that you have and let me know if you are from l @ s it odian o les encanta.
Mucho más jabón el próximo día, hasta entonces muchos besos.

How are you getting on? I am exhausted, it's been non stop for a couple of weeks and I have been disconnected from the blog and specially from making soap. But I really miss talking to you, so today I found some time to write about a topic that I have recived many questions about, rebatching soap . As some of you know by experience, sometimes soap doesn't turn out the way you expected, or sometimes you forget to add some ingredient or you simply have some soap leftovers from using cookie cutters, in all of these cases you can rebatch the soap so you don't waste it. Basically rebatching consists of grating the soap, adding some liquid , melt it on a source of heat and then add any other additive you may want . There are many ways of doing it but the most popular are: using the microwave, double boiler method or even direcly in the stove, in this case you have to try to keep the fire low and keep on turning the soap in the pot. In English speaking countries where they use the crock pot some people use this method as well.
You can use any liquid to rebatch soap, water, tea, milk, etc and the quantity of liquid depends on the initial recipe of the soap and for how long it has been made, so there is not an exact quantity but as a reference you can start with about 10% of the weight of the grated soap. Lets say you have 1Kg of grated soap, then you will add 100 gr of liquid, taking into account that you may need to add more as you go along, specially if you are doing it on a pot on top of the stove ( I sometimes use up to 30% of liquid) but remember that the more liquid you add the more time you will have to let it dry and the soap will shrink quite a bit. The resulting soap is more rustic and uneven looking than normal soap ( as you can see in the picture) and the texture is somehow spongy or at least not as hard as normal soap.
There are other ways of rebatching wich are not so widely used such as adding the grated soap in a new traced soap and cook it as in the hot process method and some other variants. To tell you the truth, rebatching is a very subject polemic on soap making, as There Are People Who just plain hate it and Other People who like it a lot.
Ok, so now get Those old soap bits out of the cupboard and start rebatching Them and let me know if You are one of the ones who love it or hate it. Next day
more soap, Until Then, kisses for all.
