In 1585 he was awarded the Don Bartholomew Jaimes uqe land now occupied by Capilla del Monte and its surroundings. This grant 'Sequis Province Yaque India' was distributed to the dies in six parts, each of her six children. The land now occupied by the population was inherited by Mrs. Lucia G. Jaimes, in 1617. Between 1695 and 1719, Captain Antonio Jaimes Ceballos y Quevedo, grandson of B. Jaimes, he built an oratory of poor colonial architecture, with stone and adobe that abounded in the place and from then on cartographic documents listed the name of "Season of San Antonio del Monte."
